Halo has done something like that recently with the "Master Chief Collection" (collection of all Halo games in 1) where they started adding new aesthetic content to old games - however they added a switch if people wanted to disable those visuals since they can clash with the drastically different designs for those who want the original experience which I think is neat.Īgreed on deluxe skins, it's okay if they look totally different, that's the point after all!īut anyways, compare Loki, Rhino, Ash, Frost, and Excalibur to that of things like Mesa, Limbo, Protea, Xaku, or Harrow. Although I have been pondering the idea of DE making a switch to make everything look "default" for those who want to see Warframe in its most raw/native visuals. Most of the deviations are usually deluxe or a fun new thought-experiment Warframe every once in a while. ![]() I feel like they definitely still got it. Especially after looking at the New War, the sentient designs, their upcoming concept art content, etc. To me, I think Warframe has been very conscious of the biomechanical carapace design - hence why they still contract/work with the original designers that created the identity of the game such as Keith Thompson and Mynki.
